Collection of general information

Each time you access this website, we or the web space provider automatically collect information. This information, also known as server log files, is of a general nature and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about you personally.

Among other things, the following information is recorded: name of the website, file, date, amount of data, web browser and web browser version, operating system, the domain name of your Internet provider, the so-called referrer URL (the page from which you accessed our offer) and the IP address.

Without this data, it would not be technically possible to deliver and display some of the website’s content. Therefore, collecting this data is absolutely necessary. We also use the anonymous information for statistical purposes. It helps us optimize our offering and technology. We also reserve the right to subsequently review the log files if we suspect illegal use of our offering.

Access data

We, the website operator or page provider, collect data about access to the website based on our legitimate interest (see Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f. GDPR) and store this data as “server log files” on the website’s server.

The following data is logged: website visited, time of access, amount of data sent in bytes, source/reference from which you accessed the site, browser used, operating system used, IP address used.

The server log files are stored for a maximum of 7 days and then deleted. The data is stored for security reasons, for example, to investigate cases of misuse. If data must be retained for evidentiary purposes, it will be exempt from deletion until the incident is finally resolved.

SSL encryption

To best protect your transmitted data, we, the website operators, use SSL encryption. You can recognize such encrypted connections by the prefix “https://” in the page link in your browser’s address bar. Unencrypted pages are marked with “http://”. Thanks to SSL encryption, any data you transmit to this website—for example, when making inquiries or reservations—cannot be read by third parties.

Reach measurement and cookies

This website uses cookies for pseudonymized reach measurement, which are transferred either from our server or a third-party server to the user’s browser. Cookies are small files that are stored on your device. Your browser accesses these files.

Cookies primarily serve two purposes: They help us make navigation through our website easier for you and enable the website to display correctly. They are not used to introduce viruses or launch programs.

Users have the option of accessing our services without cookies. To do so, you must change the appropriate settings in your browser. Please refer to your browser’s help function for information on how to disable cookies. However, please note that doing so may impair some functions of this website and limit its usability.

If you do not want cookies to be stored on your device for reach measurement purposes, you can object to the use of these files here:

Common browsers offer the option to not allow cookies.

Note: There is no guarantee that you will be able to access all functions of this website without restrictions if you make the appropriate settings.

Collection and processing of personal data

The website operator collects, uses, and discloses your personal data only if permitted by law or if you consent to the data collection. Personal data is all information that can be used to identify you and that can be traced back to you – for example, your name, email address, and telephone number. You can visit this website without providing any personal information. However, to improve our online offering, we store your access data to this website (without any personal reference). This access data includes, for example, the file you requested or the name of your Internet provider.

Because the data is anonymized, it is not possible to draw conclusions about you personally.

We process personal data such as first name, last name, IP address, email address and content information from the contact form and additionally your address, place of residence and postal code if you subscribe via this website.

We process personal data only with the express permission of the users concerned and in compliance with applicable data protection regulations.

The processing of personal data is based on our legitimate interest in fulfilling our contractually agreed services and in optimizing our online offering.

Handling contact data

If you contact us as the website operator using the contact options provided, your information will be saved so that it can be used to process and respond to your inquiry. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent.

Registration on our website

If you register on our website to use personalized services (e.g., take out a subscription), personal data will be collected. This includes your name, address, and email address as contact and communication data. Registration enables access to services and content that are only available to registered users (e.g., managing your subscription). If necessary, registered users have the option of changing or deleting the data provided during registration at any time. Upon request, we will of course inform you which personal data has been collected and stored. We will also correct or delete the data upon request, provided that this does not conflict with any statutory retention periods. For inquiries or requests for correction or deletion of data, please use the contact details stated above in this privacy policy.

Purchase and booking process

Data entered by customers as part of a subscription process or purchase is stored.

This includes: first and last name, address, telephone number, and email address. Data that is absolutely necessary to process the subscription or purchase will be passed on to third-party service providers, such as payment and/or logistics providers. As soon as retention of your data is no longer necessary or required by law, it will be deleted.

Customer account / registration function

If you create a customer account with us via our website, we will collect and store the data you entered during registration (e.g., your name, address, or email address) exclusively for pre-contractual services, for contract fulfillment, or for customer care purposes (e.g., to provide you with an overview of your previous orders with us). At the same time, we will store your IP address and the date and time of your registration. This data will not be shared with third parties.

As part of the registration process, your consent to this processing will be obtained and reference will be made to this privacy policy. The data we collect will be used exclusively to provide the customer account.

If you consent to this processing, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR forms the legal basis for the processing.
If the opening of the customer account also serves pre-contractual measures or the fulfillment of the contract, the legal basis for this processing is also Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.
You can revoke the consent you have given us to open and maintain the customer account at any time with future effect in accordance with Art. 7 (3) GDPR. To do so, you simply need to notify us of your revocation.

The data collected in this way will be deleted as soon as processing is no longer necessary. However, we must observe retention periods under tax and commercial law.

Contract processing

The data you submit to use our range of goods and/or services will be processed by us for the purpose of contract execution and is necessary for this purpose. Conclusion and contract execution are not possible without providing your data.

The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

We will delete the data once the contract has been fully processed, but we must observe the retention periods required by tax and commercial law.

As part of the contract processing, we will pass on your data to the transport company commissioned with the delivery of the goods or to the financial service provider, insofar as the transfer is necessary for the delivery of the goods or for payment purposes.

The legal basis for the transfer of data is then Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

Disclosure of personal data during the payment process

If you choose to pay with the online payment service provider PayPal during your order process, your contact details will be transmitted to PayPal as part of the resulting order. PayPal is a service provided by PayPal (Europe) S.à.rl & Cie. SCA, 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg. PayPal acts as an online payment service provider and escrow agent, and offers buyer protection services.

The personal data transmitted to PayPal usually includes your first name, last name, address, telephone number, IP address, email address, or other data required for order processing, as well as data related to the order, such as the number of items, item number, invoice amount and tax percentage, billing information, etc.
This transmission is necessary to process your order using the payment method you selected, in particular to confirm your identity, administer your payment, and manage the customer relationship. Your data is therefore transmitted to PayPal on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

Please note, however: PayPal may also pass on personal data to service providers, subcontractors or other affiliated companies if this is necessary to fulfill the contractual obligations arising from your order or if the personal data is to be processed on behalf of PayPal.

Depending on the payment method selected via PayPal, e.g., invoice or direct debit, the personal data transmitted to PayPal will be transferred by PayPal to credit reporting agencies. This transfer serves to verify your identity and creditworthiness in relation to the order you have placed. For information about these credit reporting agencies and what data PayPal generally collects, processes, stores, and shares, please refer to PayPal’s privacy policy at https://www.paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full

We also offer the option of processing payments through the payment service provider Stripe, ℅ Legal Process, 510 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94103 (Stripe). This is in our legitimate interest in offering an efficient and secure payment method (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). In this context, we will pass on the following data to Stripe, insofar as it is necessary for the performance of the contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR): cardholder name, email address, customer number, order number, credit card details, credit card validity period, credit card security code (CVC), date and time of the transaction, transaction amount, name of the provider, and location.

The processing of the data specified in this section is neither legally nor contractually required. Without the transmission of your personal data, we cannot process a payment via Stripe. Stripe assumes a dual role as controller and processor in data processing activities. As the controller, Stripe uses your submitted data to fulfill regulatory obligations. This corresponds to Stripe’s legitimate interest (pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) and serves the purpose of contract execution (pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). We have no influence on this process.

Stripe acts as a processor to complete transactions within the payment networks. Within the scope of the order processing relationship, Stripe acts exclusively on our instructions and has been contractually obligated to comply with data protection regulations within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR.

Stripe has implemented compliance measures for international data transfers. These apply to all global activities in which Stripe processes personal data of individuals in the EU. These measures are based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

Further information on objection and removal options with Stripe can be found at:https://stripe.com/privacy-center/legal

We will retain your data until the payment is completed. This includes the period required to process refunds, debt collection, and fraud prevention.

Handling of personal data

The website operator collects, uses, and discloses your personal data only if permitted by law or if you consent to the data collection. Personal data includes all information that can be used to identify you and that can be traced back to you—for example, your name, email address, and telephone number.

Use of Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics on our website. This is a web analysis service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as “Google.”

The Google Analytics service is used to analyze the usage behavior of our website. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimization, and economic operation of our website.

Usage and user-related information, such as IP address, location, time, or frequency of visits to our website, is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, we use Google Analytics with the so-called anonymization function. This function shortens the IP address within the EU or EEA.

The data collected in this way is then used by Google to provide us with an evaluation of visits to our website and the user activities there. This data may also be used to provide other services related to the use of our website and the internet.

Google states that it will not link your IP address to any other data. Google also provides further data protection information, including options for preventing data usage, at https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners .

Google also offers a so-called deactivation add-on with further information at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de . This add-on can be installed with common internet browsers and offers you further control over the data that Google collects when you visit our website. The add-on tells the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js) that information about your visit to our website should not be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, this does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or to other web analysis services. Whether and which other web analysis services we use can of course also be found in this privacy policy.

Use of Google Maps

We use Google Maps on our website to display our location and provide directions. This is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as “Google.”

In order to enable the display of certain fonts on our website, a connection to the Google server in the USA is established when you visit our website.

If you access the Google Maps component integrated into our website, Google will store a cookie on your device via your internet browser. In order to display our locations and create directions, your user settings and data will be processed. We cannot rule out the possibility that Google may use servers in the USA.

If you have given your consent to this processing, the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR may also serve as the legal basis. Our legitimate interest lies in optimizing the functionality of our website. Through the connection to Google established in this way, Google can determine which website sent your request and to which IP address the directions should be sent.

If you do not agree to this processing, you have the option of preventing the installation of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser. Details on this can be found above under the “Cookies” section.

In addition, the use of Google Maps and the information obtained via Google Maps is subject to the Google Terms of Use https://policies.google.com/terms?gl=DE&hl=de and the Google Maps Terms and Conditions https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/help/terms_maps.html.

In addition, Google offers

https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated

https://policies.google.com/privacy

further information.

jQuery CDN

To optimize the retrieval speed, design, and presentation of our website’s content on different devices, we use the jQuery CDN service, a content delivery network (“CDN”), on our website. This is a service provided by the jQuery Foundation, hereinafter referred to as “jQuery.” jQuery is distributed for the JS Foundation via the StackPath CDN.

In order to deliver the content of our website quickly, the service uses so-called JavaScript libraries. Corresponding files are loaded from the CDN server, unless they are already present in your browser cache from a visit to another website. When you connect to the CDN server, your IP address is recorded. It cannot be ruled out that a connection is made to a server outside the EU.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in accelerating the loading times of our website and in its optimization.

To prevent the execution of jQuery’s JavaScript code altogether, you can install a so-called JavaScript blocker, such as noscript.net or ghostery.com. However, if you prevent or restrict the execution of the JavaScript code, this may result in not all content and functions of our website being available for technical reasons.

Use of Adobe Fonts

To display the font design, external fonts from “Adobe Typekit” are used, a service provided by Adobe Systems Software Ireland Limited, 4-6 Riverwalk, Citywest Business Campus, Dublin 24, Republic of Ireland, hereinafter referred to as “Adobe.” When you access the provider’s website, a connection to the Adobe server is established to enable or update the font. In this process, data may be transferred to servers in the USA.

However, according to data protection authorities, the USA does not currently have an adequate level of data protection. Therefore, so-called standard contractual clauses exist between the provider and Adobe for the transfer of data to third countries: https://www.adobe.com/de/privacy/eudatatransfers.html

However, these are private law agreements and therefore have no direct impact on the access options of authorities in the USA.

The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The provider’s legitimate interest lies in the optimization and economic operation of the website. Through this connection, Adobe can recognize which website a request is sent from and to which IP address the font display is transmitted.
Adobe offers further information, in particular on the options for preventing data usage, at the following links:

https://www.adobe.com/de/privacy.html

https://www.adobe.com/de/privacy/policies/adobe-fonts.html

FontAwesome

To display fonts and visual elements on our website, we use external fonts from FontAwesome. FontAwesome is a service provided by Fonticons Inc., 6 Porter Road, Apartment 3R, Cambridge, MA 02140, USA, hereinafter referred to as “FontAwesome.”

When you visit our website, a connection is established to the FontAwesome server in the USA to enable and update the display of fonts and visual elements. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the optimization and economic operation of our website.

Through the connection to the FontAwesome server established when you visit our website, FontAwesome can determine from which website your request was sent and to which IP address the font display should be transmitted.

FontAwesome offers further information at https://fontawesome.com/privacy , particularly on how to prevent data usage.

Use of Google ReCaptcha

We use Google reCAPTCHA on our website to verify and prevent interactions on our website through automated access, e.g., by so-called bots. This is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as “Google.”

This service allows Google to determine which website a request is sent from and the IP address from which you use the so-called reCAPTCHA input box. In addition to your IP address, Google may also collect other information necessary to provide and guarantee this service.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the security of our website and in preventing unwanted, automated access in the form of spam or similar.

Google offers further information on the general handling of your user data at https://policies.google.com/privacy .

Google AdWords with conversion tracking

Our website uses Google AdWords, a service known as conversion tracking. This is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as “Google.”

We use conversion tracking to target our offerings. If you have given your consent to this processing, the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR may also be used. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimization, and economic operation of our website.

If you click on an ad placed by Google, the conversion tracking we use will save a cookie on your device. These so-called conversion cookies expire after 30 days and are not used to personally identify you.

If the cookie is still valid and you visit a specific page of our website, both we and Google can evaluate that you clicked on one of our ads placed on Google and that you were then redirected to our website.

Using the information collected in this way, Google compiles statistics about visits to our website. This also provides us with information about the number of users who clicked on our ad(s) and the pages of our website subsequently accessed. However, neither we nor third parties who also use Google AdWords are able to identify you in this way.

You can also prevent or restrict the installation of cookies by adjusting the settings in your browser. You can also delete previously stored cookies at any time. However, the steps and actions required to do so depend on the specific browser you use. If you have any questions, please refer to your browser’s help function or documentation, or contact its manufacturer or support.

Furthermore, Google also offers

further information on this topic and in particular on the options for preventing the use of data.

Contact form

If you contact us via the online form or by email, we will save the information you provide in order to answer your inquiry and ask any follow-up questions.

Newsletter subscription

If you sign up for our newsletter, we will use the data you enter exclusively for this purpose or to inform you about circumstances relevant to this service or registration. We will not share this data with third parties.

To receive the newsletter, you need a valid email address. The IP address you use to subscribe to the newsletter and the date you subscribe to the newsletter are also stored. This data serves as evidence in the event of misuse, if a third-party email address is registered for the newsletter. To further ensure that an email address is not fraudulently added to our mailing list by third parties, we legally comply with the so-called “double opt-in” process. As part of this process, the subscription to the newsletter, the sending of the confirmation email, and the receipt of the registration confirmation are logged.

You have the option to revoke your consent to the storage of your data, your email address, and their use for sending the newsletter at any time. We provide a link for revoking your consent in every newsletter and on the website. You also have the option of informing us of your revocation request using the contact options listed in this policy.

Data economy

In accordance with the principles of data avoidance and data economy, we store personal data only for as long as necessary or as required by law (statutory retention period). If the purpose of the collected information no longer applies or the retention period expires, we will block or delete the data.

User rights

As a user, you have the right to receive, upon request, free information about which personal data has been stored about you. You also have the right to correct inaccurate data and to restrict the processing or delete your personal data. If applicable, you can also assert your right to data portability. If you believe that your data has been processed unlawfully, you can file a complaint with the responsible supervisory authority.

Deletion of data

Unless your request conflicts with a legal obligation to retain data (e.g., data retention), you have the right to have your data deleted. Data stored by us will be deleted if it is no longer required for its intended purpose and there are no statutory retention periods. If deletion is not possible because the data is required for permissible legal purposes, data processing will be restricted. In this case, the data will be blocked and not processed for other purposes.

Changes to our privacy policy

To ensure that our privacy policy always complies with current legal requirements, we reserve the right to make changes at any time. This also applies if the privacy policy needs to be adjusted due to new or revised services, such as new services. The new privacy policy will then take effect the next time you visit our website.

Right of objection

Users of this website can exercise their right to object and withdraw their consent to the processing of their personal data at any time. If you wish to correct, block, delete, or request information about the personal data stored about you, or if you have questions regarding the collection, processing, or use of your personal data, or if you wish to revoke consent you have given, please contact us at the following email address:info@ajambow.com
